Michelia, Cempaka’s early childhood programme, where purposeful learning and the joy of childhood go hand in hand. Michelia blends the best elements of established early childhood philosophies, including Reggio Emilia and Montessori, with play-based and thematic learning. These are thoughtfully combined with approaches developed at Cempaka and tailored to our community’s needs and aspirations.

As the beginning of a child’s learning journey at Cempaka, Michelia prepares children for a seamless transition to the structured yet flexible Finnish curriculum in Primary School, while building the foundations for the years ahead. Children leave Michelia as confident, capable and independent learners, equipped with the curiosity and deep love for learning to thrive throughout their journey at Cempaka and beyond.
